Choosing the right subscription plan means balancing picture quality, how many people watch at once, and whether you want to download content for offline viewing. All plans include access to the full on-demand library; the differences come down to streaming quality, simultaneous screens, and a few premium extras. Here’s everything you need to know before you decide.

Not sure which plan is right for you? All new accounts are eligible for a 30-day free trial on the Standard or Premium plan. Your trial starts the day you sign up and you won’t be charged until the trial period ends — you can cancel at any time before then at no cost. The Basic plan is not included in the free trial offer.

Detailed Plan Comparison

The table below covers every feature across all three plans so you can make a side-by-side comparison before committing.
4K streaming requires a 4K-capable device and a minimum internet connection speed of 25 Mbps. Dolby Atmos requires a compatible soundbar, AV receiver, or TV. Not all titles are available in 4K or with Dolby Atmos — look for the 4K and Atmos badges on a title’s detail page.

How to Upgrade Your Plan

You can upgrade at any time. When you upgrade, the change takes effect immediately and you gain access to higher-quality streams, more screens, and other premium features right away. Your billing date stays the same — you’ll receive a prorated credit for the remaining days on your current plan, applied to the cost of the new plan.
1

Sign In to Your Account

Go to the website or open the app and sign in. Navigate to your avatar → Account Settings.
2

Go to Plan & Billing

Select the Plan & Billing tab. Your current plan is shown at the top with its renewal date and price.
3

Click 'Change Plan'

Under Current Plan, click the Change Plan button. You’ll see all available plans with their prices and features highlighted.
4

Select Your New Plan

Click the plan you want to upgrade to (e.g. from Standard to Premium). A summary shows the prorated charge you’ll pay today and what your next regular bill will be.
5

Confirm the Upgrade

Review the summary, then click Confirm Upgrade. Your new plan activates immediately and a confirmation email is sent to your registered address.

How to Downgrade Your Plan

Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle — you keep your existing plan’s benefits until then, and the lower price kicks in on your next renewal date. No prorated refund is issued for the remaining days on the higher plan.
1

Navigate to Plan & Billing

Go to Account SettingsPlan & Billing.
2

Click 'Change Plan'

Click Change Plan and select the lower-tier plan you’d like to move to.
3

Review the Change Summary

The confirmation screen shows exactly when the downgrade takes effect and what your next bill amount will be. It also warns you of any features you’ll lose (e.g. 4K access, extra download devices).
4

Confirm the Downgrade

Click Confirm Downgrade. A confirmation email is sent immediately. Your current plan stays active until the billing cycle ends, at which point the new plan takes over.
If you’re on the Premium plan and have downloads saved on more than one device, downgrading to Standard will revoke offline access on all but one device at the end of your billing cycle. Make sure you’ve watched any downloaded content before the switch date.
