Your profile is the hub for everything personal on the platform — from how your name appears to other household members, to the language subtitles default to, to which email address receives your receipts. Keeping these details accurate ensures you get the best experience and never miss an important account update.

Update Your Display Name and Profile Picture

Your display name and avatar appear across your profile switcher, watch history, and any shared household view. You can change them at any time in just a few steps.
1

Open Account Settings

Sign in and select your profile avatar in the top-right corner of any page. From the dropdown menu, choose Account Settings.
2

Go to Profile Information

Under the Profile tab, click Edit Profile. You’ll see your current display name and profile picture side by side.
3

Update Your Display Name

Click the pencil icon next to your name, type your new display name (3–30 characters, letters and numbers only), and press Save.
4

Change Your Profile Picture

Click your current avatar to open the image picker. You can choose from the built-in avatar library or upload a custom image (JPG or PNG, max 5 MB, minimum 200 × 200 px). Select or upload your image, crop it if prompted, then click Apply.
5

Confirm Your Changes

A green confirmation banner will appear at the top of the page. Your new name and picture are visible immediately across all devices where you’re signed in.
Profile pictures are visible to everyone who shares your household plan. Choose an image that makes it easy for family members to pick your profile quickly on the TV home screen.

Change Your Email Address

Your email address is used for sign-in, billing receipts, and service announcements. Changing it requires you to verify the new address before the switch takes effect.
1

Navigate to Account Settings

Select your avatar → Account SettingsSign-In & Security.
2

Click 'Change Email'

Next to your current email address, click the Change Email button.
3

Enter Your New Email Address

Type your new email address in the New Email field and re-enter it in the Confirm New Email field to avoid typos.
4

Verify Your Identity

Enter your current account password when prompted. This confirms it’s really you making the change.
5

Check Your Inbox and Confirm

A verification link is sent to your new email address. Open the email and click Confirm New Email. The link expires in 24 hours. Until you confirm, your old address remains active.
6

Sign Back In

After confirmation, you’ll be signed out automatically. Sign back in using your new email address and your existing password.
If you don’t receive the verification email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder. You can resend the link from the Sign-In & Security page by clicking Resend Verification Email.

Update Your Password

Changing your password regularly helps keep your account secure. You’ll need access to your current password or your registered email to complete this process.
1

Go to Sign-In & Security

From Account Settings, select the Sign-In & Security tab.
2

Click 'Change Password'

Select Change Password next to the password field.
3

Enter Your Current Password

Type your existing password in the Current Password field. If you’ve forgotten it, click Forgot Password to receive a reset link by email instead.
4

Create a Strong New Password

Enter your new password. It must be at least 8 characters and include at least one uppercase letter, one number, and one special character (e.g. !, @, #). The strength indicator will show you when it meets the requirements.
5

Save and Sign Out of Other Devices

Click Save Password. You’ll be given the option to Sign out of all other devices — we recommend doing this if you suspect unauthorized access.
After changing your password, any active sessions on devices you didn’t sign out of will require a new sign-in. Make sure you’re not mid-way through a download on a mobile device before proceeding.

Set Language and Region Preferences

Language and region settings control your interface language, subtitle defaults, audio track preferences, and content availability. These are set per profile, so each family member can have their own language experience.
1

Open Profile Preferences

Go to Account SettingsPreferences. Make sure you’re editing the correct profile if you have multiple — the active profile name appears at the top of the page.
2

Set Your Interface Language

Under Display Language, select your preferred language from the dropdown. The interface updates instantly — no page reload required.
3

Set Default Audio Language

Under Audio & Subtitles, choose your preferred audio language. When you start a title that has your preferred language available, it will be selected automatically.
4

Set Default Subtitle Language

Choose your subtitle language from the Subtitles dropdown. Select Off if you prefer no subtitles by default — you can always toggle them mid-playback.
5

Set Your Region

Under Region, confirm your country. Changing your region affects the content library you see and the currency used for billing. Region changes may be limited to once every 12 months and require re-verification of your billing address.
6

Save Preferences

Click Save Preferences at the bottom of the page. Changes apply to new streaming sessions immediately.

Manage Notification Settings

You control exactly which emails and push notifications we send you — from billing reminders to new episode alerts for shows you follow.
1

Access Notification Settings

Go to Account SettingsNotifications.
2

Configure Email Notifications

Toggle each email notification type on or off:
  • Billing & Receipts — invoices, payment confirmations, and renewal reminders (recommended: on)
  • New Releases — alerts when titles you’ve added to your watchlist become available
  • Account Security — sign-in alerts and password changes (cannot be disabled)
  • Promotions & Offers — exclusive deals and free-trial extensions
3

Configure Push Notifications

Under Push Notifications, enable or disable alerts for:
  • Continue Watching — reminders to finish something you started
  • New Episodes — alerts when a new episode drops for a series you follow
  • Recommended for You — personalized picks based on your watch history
4

Set Notification Frequency

For marketing and recommendation notifications, you can set a frequency limit (e.g. At most once a week) to avoid notification overload while still staying informed.
5

Save Your Preferences

Click Save to apply your notification preferences. Changes take effect within the hour.
Transactional notifications — such as payment receipts and security alerts — cannot be disabled. They are required to keep your account safe and your billing transparent.

Set Up and Switch Between Multiple Profiles

Family and group plans support multiple independent profiles under one subscription. Each profile has its own watch history, recommendations, language settings, and watchlist — so everyone gets a personalized experience.

Adding a New Profile

1

Go to Manage Profiles

Select your avatar in the top-right corner and click Manage Profiles from the dropdown.
2

Click 'Add Profile'

On the Manage Profiles screen, click the + Add Profile tile.
3

Enter a Profile Name

Type a name for the new profile (e.g. a family member’s first name). You can also select an avatar for the profile now or skip this step.
4

Set a Kid-Friendly Mode (Optional)

Toggle Kids Profile on if this profile is for a child. Kids profiles only show content rated appropriate for children and cannot be changed without the account PIN.
5

Save the Profile

Click Create Profile. The new profile appears on the profile selection screen immediately. Share the profile name with the relevant household member so they can select it when they sign in.

Switching Between Profiles

1

Select Your Avatar

From anywhere in the app or website, click or tap your avatar in the top-right corner.
2

Choose a Profile

The dropdown shows all profiles on your plan. Click the profile you want to switch to. You may be asked to enter a profile PIN if one has been set.
3

Start Watching

The platform reloads with that profile’s personalized home screen, watchlist, and settings. All activity from this point is recorded to the selected profile.

Deleting a Profile

1

Open Manage Profiles

Select your avatar → Manage Profiles.
2

Select the Profile to Delete

Click the pencil / edit icon on the profile you want to remove.
3

Click Delete Profile

Scroll to the bottom of the profile editor and click Delete Profile. Confirm the action in the dialog that appears.
Deleting a profile permanently removes that profile’s watch history, ratings, and watchlist. This action cannot be undone. The main account profile (the one used to sign in) cannot be deleted.
