# How to Start Surfing: Browse, Play, and Control

> Our home page, regardless of the division you are streaming from, is designed to help you quickly discover new releases, return to content you have previously viewed, and explore different types of media available through your GALLERY+ division.

## The Featured Release, Main Banner

At the top of the dashboard, you may see a featured or new release selected by our team.

Depending on the release, the featured area may include:

* Release artwork or an animated background
* A film or release title
* Release type
* Release year
* Content rating
* Runtime
* A short description
* A **Play** button
* A **More Info** button

Some featured backgrounds may be animated or use video. If the video cannot be played by your device or browser, GALLERY+ may display its fallback artwork or a washed backdrop instead.

## Browsing releases

Content is organized into horizontal rows throughout the dashboard.

Depending on what is currently available, you may see sections for:

* **Photo Albums**
* **Movies & Series**
* **Trending Albums**
* **Top Movies & Series**
* **Previously viewed content**

<Tip>
  On a **desktop or laptop**, use the arrows beside a row to move through additional releases.
</Tip>

<Tip>
  On a **phone or tablet**, swipe horizontally across the row
</Tip>

## Opening a Release

Select a release tile to continue.

Photo albums normally open their album release page.

Movies and series may first display an information window with additional details about the title. From there, you can start playback or, for supported series, choose an episode.

## Mobile navigation

On smaller screens, GALLERY+ uses a simplified navigation layout.

Tap the menu button in the upper-right corner to open additional navigation options.

From the menu, you may be able to access options such as Contact and Submit Content.

## Need help?

If a release or platform feature is not working as expected, visit the GALLERY+ Help Center or contact the GALLERY+ team.
